Tableau lets you embed visualizations directly where your salespeople spend most of their time - in Salesforce. Traditionally, Tableau is integrated into Salesforce using a Salesforce canvas app called Sparkler, which uses Tableau's trusted authentication. However, Sparkler limits the level of integration possible. To solve this problem, OSI Digital has developed a more useful integration between Tableau and Salesforce. We use the Tableau JavaScript API and the Tableau REST API along with the Salesforce Visualforce pages, Apex coding, and Lightning Web components to provide a more robust and valuable integration.
