BDA performed a detailed study of their operations to understand how they function today, with a focus on the key requirements to keep the business running optimally. The customer was also looking for ways to improve operations, accuracy, efficiency and productivity for the
future. With this in mind, BDA decided to automate its warehouse management process. They chose SCALE (Manhattan Cloud) warehouse software to integrate with their existing Oracle ERP for all areas such as receiving, shipping and inventory processes. The integration would enable Customer Support Representatives to view required information within their systems by ingesting the information from Oracle EBS and vice-versa. Since these applications resided in different environments
(cloud/on-premise) and functionality stacks, middleware was introduced to integrate the various business data flows between these systems.
