OSI Digital’s engagement with Alkermes started with an upgrade of their 9.3 server to version 10.5. The customer required an experienced partner like OSI Digital to seamlessly complete the upgrade, especially with the introduction of Hyper in version 10.5. This was especially challenging since Alkermes had numerous large packaged workbooks that needed to be refreshed in a timely manner. Older workbooks needed to be archived for future reference. Alkermes also had the issue of runaway disk utilization due to the continuous growth of their data. They needed a more streamlined and automated process for routine maintenance such as backups, monitoring and archival. This was critical as their IT staff did not have any Tableau expertise on their team.
