Inogen was faced with modernizing an outdated Oracle ERP platform that was residing at a third-party data center managed by another vendor. An analysis was performed in conjunction with Oracle to measure the impact of migrating from EBS to Oracle SaaS and Inogen arrived at the conclusion that a
migration from EBS to Cloud SaaS would provide a negative ROI with no real benefit. The company considered remaining with Oracle EBS and upgrading its underlying technical stack to a modern supported version.
